Dr. Clint Martin, DVM
Owner and Veterinarian
As the founder and lead veterinarian at Acres Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Clint Martin brings years of hands-on experience, advanced surgical knowledge, and a heartfelt commitment to pet wellness. Known for his thoughtful, solutions-based approach, Dr. Martin is passionate about working with families to create realistic and compassionate care plans tailored to each pet’s unique needs.
Dr. Martin is especially skilled in soft tissue surgery, endoscopic foreign body removal, and diagnostic imaging, and is proud to offer specialized care that is often hard to find in general practice. His mission is to combine advanced veterinary medicine with a down-to-earth, judgment-free environment where pet parents feel supported and informed every step of the way.
With a deep connection to the Smyrna community and a desire to build long-term relationships with his clients, Dr. Martin ensures that every pet receives the same high level of care he would want for his animals.
Marlie Martin
Clinic Operations and Client Relations
Marlie Martin plays a key role in supporting the clinic’s day-to-day operations and ensuring a warm, welcoming experience for every client. As both a team member and a partner in the vision behind Acres Veterinary Clinic, Marlie is dedicated to building strong relationships with pet owners and helping them feel heard, respected, and cared for.
Her commitment to client advocacy and communication reflects the clinic’s core values: empathy, integrity, and collaboration.
Haven
Lead Technician/Tech Supervisor
Haven began her career in the veterinary field in 2020. She has worked in general practice, emergency medicine, and oncology. She enjoys developing relationships with pets/clients and educating owners on the best recommendations for their pet’s welfare.
She is very passionate about patient care and animal rights. She is ALS & BLS certified as well as Fear Free certified.
She loves all animals, especially her Labrador Retriever, Sage, and two cats, Oliver and Bowie.
She looks forward to starting a new chapter with Acres and is excited for the future!
Sophia, Technician
Technician
Sophia has two years of experience working as a vet assistant in general practice and loves the fulfilling and important work she does to better the lives of all the pets she meets. She is passionate about animals and their well-being, and is a devoted pet parent to many, including her black Lab/Blue Heeler mix pup, a tabby cat, several chickens, and two mini donkeys arriving soon! She has always loved animals and knew that she wanted to work in the veterinary field from a very young age. Sophia is excited to further her career in this field by pursuing additional education to become a licensed vet tech as well. She can’t wait to meet your beloved pet family members very soon!
